Basic Configuration Changes
The interface is designed for Android OS. You can perform all operations with finger tap as effectively and conveniently as with a stylus in other OS.
The interface is user-friendly. Information search became simpler with added filters for journals and references. When choosing a product, you can also insert additional information downloaded from an office accounting system. Image-based functions were implemented, so now an Item reference's element can contain a picture.
The way to update the shelf stock was improved. Now current stock is reduced by a requested product amount, or increases if a request was canceled. Also you can get a current stock balance any time via remote exchange with a server.
What is more, now a mobile employee can change an item price directly in the application, whereas before they could only choose one of the fixed prices. This option gives the mobile employees, who use «PalmOrder: Pre-Selling» for Android, the possibility to work with customers more efficiently.
The features of «PalmOrder: Pre-Selling» for Android have been extended with the GPS-tracking. GPS-tracking allows you to:
- get the GPS-coordinates throughout the whole route of a mobile employee;
- get the GPS-coordinates when a document (request) is saved; in this case the additional information about a document (customer's name, point of sale, total amount of money etc.) can be saved as well;
- transfer a GPS-coordinates to a server for its online visualization
